Where to go for cheap break end of sept

Hi

Hope someone can help. Me and OH are after really cheap hol for end of September. Just want somewhere to relax by a nice pool. Self catering. Don't mind where as long as it's hot and not too built up. Doesn't have to be on the beach just somewhere to wind down and still around. Really don't know where to start :(
Thanks guys

Depends what you mean by hot and cheap.

Cheapest deal is often algarve, though won't be hot, probably mid twenties or a bit warmer.

Canaries or Egypt would be hotter but more expensive options, there's plenty of opportunity to do research on the Internet.

I will second Portugal but the weather could be iffy,we went a couple of years ago late September early October and got a lot of rain and it was cold at night but during the day it would have been pleasant if it wasn't raining.

I spent the first week of November last year in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and still got a tan. Plus, you can get cheap boat trips over to Fuertaventura from there, so...it's very easy to fly into one island and back from another if the flights work out cheaper that way.

Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol, fly to Malaga.

I would suggest the eastern Mediterranean, Turkey or Greece.
Will be hotter than Spain or Portugal.

Thanks guys. Sorry when I say hot I mean 20-25. 25 would be nice. As long as we can lay by pool in afternoon and relax in the sun we'll be happy. We really do just need a break. Will have a look at your suggestions, thanks guys. :)

Fuengy is always my one of my first choices for a cheap getaway. It may not be the classiest place in the world but there are loads of budget flights into Malaga, short train ride into town and lots of cheap hotels.

Weather at the end of Sept will be a bit of gamble. Could be hot could be mild and damp.

I like Las Rampas (http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g315915-d324608-Reviews-Las_Rampas-Fuengirola_Costa_del_Sol_Province_of_Malaga_Andalucia.html) - rooms a fairly basic but it's spotlessly clean and in a very central location within a few minutes walk of everywhere.
