Reapply for Capital One balance transfer

Hi there

I had a Capital One Credit card last November for 6 months purely for the balance transfer offer. I then closed the account in May once interest would have been charged. My credit rating is poor and still have an outstanding balance on another credit card.

Does anyone know if I could reapply for the same offer from Capital One? Would they decline me as I have already had a card in the last 12 months? I don't want to mess up my credit history with a credit card decline.

someone said not to reapply to same vendor within a year,,they thought u would be refused,,but tbh ,,i do not know one way or other,u shouldnt have closed it down,,i have one ,,not used for a while,,but still active ,,but u know that know

Thanks. I have a credit card with plenty of available credit on it, I only wanted to use the Capital One card for a 0% transfer. I cannot find out where it states if I can reapply.

most cc companies have a minimum period where a new application will be accepted after account closure.

Difficult to answer exactly, though if its been 12 moths since then there's no harm in re applying.
