Sainsbury's Credit Card Application

I applied for a Sainsbury's Credit Card. I got accepted but Sainsbury's Bank is asking for proof of ID.
I sent a certified copy of my passport by a Barclays employee.
Then I got a letter back from Sainsbury's Bank. The letter is saying: ''we are unable to accept your incorrect certified Passport, as there is no branch stamp visible.''.
This is getting a bit ridiculous.
Why is it so difficult with the Sainsbury's Credit Cards?
Can somebody suggest any other bank where I can get a certified copy of my Passport as I do not want to send the original in case it gets lost somewhere.

You can get a certified copy from the post office, however they will charge you a fee.Debt Free and Stoozing

I do not want to pay any fees.
I am starting to regret that I applied for their card at all.
I wish, I would know this earlier.0 -
well was it certified and stamped?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
