FGW strike - RSH issue

I am getting nowhere with redspotted hanky so thought I would seek advice here.
I am booked to travel over the Bank Holiday weekend during the FGW strike. According to FGW, even though the strike is yet to be confirmed I am entitled to a full refund. However, RSH are saying that I will only get a full refund if my actual service is cancelled. I need to apply and they will consider it once the weekend has passed. To make matters worse my outward journey looks to be cancelled whilts my return isn't.
Can anyone help with this?

Keep copies of the FGW advice.
Send a copy with all your tickets for a refund and take it further should the refund not materialise0 -

If the train is definitely not running and you don't want to travel, RSH will have to refund you. If RSH refuse, refer them to Transport Focus0
