This year is my first attempt at bell peppers and I seem to have a problem.

Can anybody suggest why this may be happening to my fruit?

Thanks for any help.

  • Lack of water at some point so they split. Toms do the same

Might also be slug damage that's grown out.

Normally, slugs bore their way inside near the shoulders of the fruit, but yours might have been an abnormal slug. Looks like it may have had a go at the leaves too.

    Otherwise, as above.

    Thanks.
It has been on every pepper, and they have also been growing in on themselves. It's like the bottoms curl round and into the flesh above tearing it apart. Looks very odd to me.
