I've been attempting to reclaim bank charges for some months and after many letters to and from the bank, the bank in question recently deposited a goodwill reimbursement figure into my account, which brought the charges incurred on my account into line with their current charges, (which is a twenty eight pound charge once a month for every month that the account holder is overdrawn).
Now my question is do I keep this money as the OFT may decide that twenty eight pounds is a reasonable charge, or do I wait, give back the original goodwill offer and hope that the OFT sees sense and drops the charges to something more acceptable, is this likely to happen?
