Best account to save £60k to maximise interest

My brother has recently downsized his living situation and has got £60,000 to put into a savings account (i.e. no risk of losing the investment).
Does anyone know or can they point me in the right direction of the best account to place these savings into with a view to getting some sort of monthly interest payment?
