Cheap Greek Holidays?

Hi All,
According to the radio and press, Greek holidays are going cheap.
I've been looking for 6 adults and two kids in three self catering apartments.
This is sometime in the summer next year. For the first time we can actually go in the school holidays, and HAS to be Thomas Cook.
We don't usually do package holidays, but it's a treat for the family.
They're all coming in at about £550 pp for 14 nights.
Flying from Luton/Gatwick/Heathrow.
Does this seem about right?
Should I leave it until next year to get a better deal?

Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.
Decided to give up, and haven't had a fag for 12 years.
Halfway through losing six stone.
Looking forward to early retirement.
