Had a visit from a guy from this company about solar panels.

Anyone used them please?
Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.

Can't really help. But I did look at the website (assuming they are in Doncaster?) Sometimes you get clues based on the clarity or dodgyness of the info. Also (personally) I think the info and numbers should be updated to show they are serious.

So I looked at their calculator to have a play, but it already had default info in it. First line, £9,500 for a 4kWp system, so clearly hasn't been updated since late 2011 ....... but no ...... it has the current FiT rate which changed on 1st July.

Wowza! £9.5k ....... buy one get one free, or just say BOGOF to them.

Say hello on the G&E board, were you'll be told to get under £6k and aim for £5k.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.
