After clearing the garden we have one corner that looks a bit bare, 2 new fences meet (bar a slight gap - before we moved in) and unsure of what to put there, so open to ideas?
Was thinking a corner arbour, all wooden one, but are they a bit dated??
Thanks in advance

Dated or not, I use my arbour a lot. It has solid sides and back so keeps the wind off. I do routine jobs like spud peeling out there and I can enjoy the garden while I work. That bit of shelter means I can be outside even when it's a bit chilly.0

In the corners of mine I have planted a corkscrew willow, Salix babylonica var. pekinensis 'Tortuosa', and in the other corner are dogwoods, Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea'. The willow is underplanted with hostas, ferns and Pachysandra terminalis0
