Hi
When I accept the keys for my new flat, do i do anything at all to initiate the mortgage payments, or will there be an automatic trigger action by my mortgage company to start drawing the money based on the house sale happening and my solicitor signing it all off?
Thanks

Your lender will tell you when your payments are due.
They'll probably get you to set up a DD in advance.0 -
I received a letter confirming the details of the mortgage, the monthly payment and the account it was being drawn from. Beware that your first payment may be larger than your normal monthly payment as it can be more than a month between completion and the first payment so you owe more than a month's worth of mortgage payment. This will also be detailed within the letter.0
