tomtom20 charger for micra?

Hi,i have tomtom20 i did try to connect charger to my micra2003 but it wont fit. is it my car charger broke where you put in or you need difrent charger for micra?i thought all cars is same?thanks

More info required, yes the 12v sockets are usually the same standard, it may sound silly but are you using the correct lead? (eg not the mains charger).

Most should fit, but I have had a few 12v adapters that didn't fit in certain cars, they wouldn't push all the way in. So might be worth trying another.

Check the socket for debris or remnants of an old charger plug.

Had a friend pop over a few weeks back and they mentioned their
socket didnt work, I had a quick look and fished out the top section
and spring of a phone charger. Someone had tanked the plug out and
left part of it behind.
