Dropship items - selling on ebay

I have read with interest an article on a website and I was wondering if anybody has experience of selling items on ebay by what is known as "dropship selling". It sounds too good to be true - is it a scam? Any advice or anyone with any experience I would be glad to hear from.

It is not a scam but then there are sooo many sellers now dropshipping, that you will find it hard to find a product that is new and will sell well rather than competing with those selling the same.

There was money to be made this way a while back, but since a lot have jumped on the bandwagon, it's not as esy to make cash now.

So, no it's not a scam, but it's not that easy to make fortunes either.

Personally I would stay well away from drop-shipping. There are so many potential problems with drop-shipping.

and your reputation as a seller is only as good as your dropshipper, if they start to run into problems it will be very quickjly reflected in your ratings.

Source your items buy them outright and then sell on; you are then only worried about your own performance and not someone elses.
