Apple grafts
I have an apple tree that was here when we moved in 24 years ago. It's some sort of russet, but isn't a good eater or cooker. It's ok for chutney and the neighbour's pony loves it, basically I keep it for the blossom. I thought I might try grafting something useful on it but I don't know anyone with an apple tree I can scrounge a scion off. Can anyone recommend an on-line seller? And any tips would be appreciated.
