Used car sourcing

I'm looking for a particular used car with certain features but not having much luck on Autotrader and Ebay.

Can anyone suggest other websites and does anyone know of a used car sourcing service/website?

Autotrader is fairly comprehensive. I don't think you can really get much better than that. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a site that goes to a lower level than that for it's search facility.

Out of interest, what car is it and why is it difficult to find?

Could try Pistonheads, ExchangeAndMart or even approved used cars from the manufacturer?

Hierarchy tends to be Autotrader/Motors/RAC Cars/eBay/Gumtree/Local rag/supermarket notice board.

I do not think there is a used car sourcing service....only a scam used car selling service that guarntees your car sold for the full asking price if you pay the scummers £79.00 as they definatley have a list as long as your arm for customers waiting to buy your used car at your advertised price.

I'm with the OP on this - I'm currently searching and looking at 4/5 different models with an element of flexibity but some fixed 'needs' - I've ended to with 20+ Ebay/Autotrader searches set up to cover all options (i.e. different spellings, different views of whether a DSG gearbox is automatic or semi automatic and whether a sunroof is a 'sunroof' or a 'panoramic roof')

The best search facility is generally Pistonheads followed by Audis own but Autotrader would be so much better if it allowed multiple choices rather than 'one' or 'all'

Lots on Autotrader but no roof rails. Buy them from the dealer once you have found your A3.

I wouldn't discount so many cars just for roof rails that were an option.

Am sure you can get them fitted by the local Audi dealer once you buy the A3.

But rare as rocking horse poo according to a contact - there's a set on Ebay @ £725 and then you need fitting
