Does anyone know of a UK-based operator doing tours but NOT cruise-based ones, i.e. flying from island to island?

I found an Austrian company that does a 20 day tour with a mini (3 day) cruise from New Zealand at the end.

That would be OK too, but I don't want to spend 3 weeks on a ship.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

    Is the Austrian Company using a local company or Austrian guides?

    I really want to go to Polynesia, in fact think I may have started a thread on it but to get there by plane seems to take about as long as it would by boat.:)

    Logically they will use local guides who can speak German and who probably speak English. As I speak German it doesn't really matter.

    I would just prefer to have a tour company based in the UK and under ABTA/ATOL rules, and pay in sterling.
