another plant i.d.
This straggly bush has started to produce some lovely flowers. However it is in danger from my new patio, so I am wondering about taking cuttings to ensure its survival.

Its a Papaver or a Poppy , I think they grow from seed but I'm not absolutely sure.#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

More likely a Cistaceae (aka rock rose) shrub, you can propagate by softwood cuttings. It won't respond to being pruned back hard.0
