APCOA parking notice

Hi I recently received a letter from APCOA serving Notice on me for an alleged contravention of 02-Dropping off/ Picking up up outside of a designated parking area at Luton airport. My gut instinct is to not pay, but I'm not sure what will happen if I dont. I've heard a lot of things about these types of notices but want to make sure nothing has changed recently that means they can legally persue me for the money if I dont pay.

Any advice or clarity will be appreciated::j

Hopefully this thread will be moved soon but if not, start your own thread in that forum once you have the bones of a challenge together for more detailed advice.
