Bought a car that hadn't got the advertised specification

Hi, I have been sold a 2011 Mercedes 220 cdi cabriolet from a dealer in London that was advertised as having air scarf in the spec (I have neck arthritis and specifically wanted this feature) but I couldn't find the air scarf when it arrived in the same dealership in Manchester, thinking it must be hidden and pop up when a switch was pressed and having to check many other things such as the bodywork, engine, etc, I paid over the remainder of the money (I had already paid a deposit of £1000) and took it home. On reading the manual I found out it didn't actually have air scarf. On approaching the dealer I had purchased it from they looked in their advert and agreed it had been sold as having air scarf and asked what I wanted them to do about it. I told them I wanted the air scarf and asked if it could be added to the vehicle by Mercedes. The dealer came me back to me and asked me to get a quote for doing the work necessary to bring the car up to the spec that was advertised. I have been in touch with my local Mercedes and they have told me that it would cost at least £2,000 to add air scarf and will give me a quote in the next few days. How do I stand if the seller does not want to pay that much to put it right? Can I demand they pay the whole cost of bringing it up to the spec advertised when they sold it to me? If anyone knows the answers please let me know.

    The easiest and best solution would be for the dealer to just refund you.

    This was obviously the main selling point of the car for you, yet you didn't check it or enquire about before buying it?

    I would have thought it would fall under repair (or in this case upgrade), replace (with a similar car of the right spec) or refund.
