Quick Balance Transfer Query

Hi all
I have 2 credit cards. Virgin Money and Barclaycard Platinum.
At the minute I have approx £600 on my Virgin card however this at 0% for at least 12 months as it was a balance transfer and will be paid off in 4 month.
My Barclaycard has an offer of 0% on BTs until 30/11/16 with a 3.9% fee.
My plan is to buy an iPhone 6 with my Virgin Card and then transfer part of the balance (the cost of the phone) to my Barclaycard.
Will this work?
Will the remaining balance on my Virgin card remain at my promotional rate of 0%?

Was the question that difficult?
I have since bought the iPhone on my barclaycard and going to transfer the balance to my wifes Lloyds credit card which is offering 0% for 21 months for a BT fee of 3%0
