Health club membership over phone, cancelling

Hi, not sure if this is the right section. I visited a local hotel & spa last week with a view to family membership.
The pricing info I got was dated jan 2014. Oh and I agreed we would go ahead. The manager phoned me today to organise the membership and sort payment. When doing so he quoted nearly double the child's fee. From £16pm (£192pa) to £341 pa. I queried this, he said the £16 was for 1 year old.
I went ahead and paid. Later looking at the prices again. £16 was clearly marked 4-15 years. I rand him again querying price. He said the prices had changed.
I'm not prepared to pay this for a child and feel he's taking the mickey. As the payment was made over the phone, do I have the 7 day cooling off period in which to cancel?
