They are indeed the real deal and are awesome phones. Id hang on a while thou as their new phone the one plus two is out Q3 of this year ;)

Sign up to their forums etc and become an active user in the hope that you get an invite for it when it comes out.

You can buy today without an invite, only available on a Tuesday from what i've just read on their site. I seen some reviews on this phone and it seems to be good and for a reasonable price compared to some of the new higher end smart, 4g phones.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

I've had one for nearly a year. Its a great phone, just watch your 4G compatibility.

Wait for the next model if you really want to buy something like this. The original version uses some old tech (like the old iPhone 5) so can only use 4G in the UK on one band, 1800MHz.

Unfortunately Vodafone and o2 don't use the band at all, while Three and EE do, but both Three and EE also have other frequencies they are starting to use. This means the one+one is going to have problems even on EE and Three in the future with regards to 4G coverage. It will also never be compatible with WifiCalling and probably also VoLTE, (when that is launched).
