Vodafone New System

Options
Has anyone had the same elongated (hours long) process trying to renew their contract with Vodafone? I have spent 3 days talking/chatting to systems and people at Vodafone to get a new contract. Eventually ordered an i-phone however they tried to send it to my old address. After another 74 minutes trying to get them to change the address I eventually gave up and cancelled the whole thing. They have done nothing to try and recover me as a customer. I was under the impression all companies tried to keep their existing customers of many years? Is my experience a one off? Has anybody any suggestions as to how I get to someone in Vodafone who has the power to care for customers

Wrong impression. Yes. Contact the Web Relations Team using the instructions on the complaints thread (repeated hundreds of time).

Why would you want to stay with them when you can get out now???

Maybe he's happy with the overall coverage and service?
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Then he (or she) is now finding out what they're like when you actually need to talk with them. Indeed, since they're offering to stay with them it follows that things get a lot worse once you have - though a cursory look on page one of the mobiles forum any time in the last few years would have told them that.
