Hi all,
I need to take several cuttings from a climbing rose this week any advice (waiting is not an option)
I'm thinking new growth, beneath bud, strip all bar one set of leaves off, growth hormone and in sand?

Take plenty, this isn't the best time of year. I'd keep them out of the hot sun until they had rooted.
Do you have a picture of the rose? If the cuttings don't take, someone on here will probably be able to identify it and you could buy one. I have a climber the same as one in my parents' garden, it still brings back the memories even though it's not from the original rose.0
