Cucumber or courgette, that is the question?
I have started seeds from both at the same time and have managed to mislay the labels.
One lot is growing more quickly, but other than that there seems to be little difference appearance wise the moment, other than that the bigger ones seem to have hairier stems.
Help! How do I tell them apart sooner rather than later?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

hairier stems very likely to be cucumberEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Cucumbers will often have tendrils and show a climbing habit. also the leaves are hairy/pricklier as Farway mentioned.0

Thinking you will plant both at the same time in similar positions, so won't be a huge disaster if they are wrong.
You could just start again. You are a little early for sowing.0 -
In a pot courgette grow larger and quicker than cucumber, however I have found cucumber seeds germinate quicker. We find that we can !!!!! out cue seeds 7 days after sowing. We don't wait longer as we get more losses I assume due to the roots being more fragile/sensative.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I agree, the courgettes will probably grow faster, given time.
Swear filter doesn't like p r i c k, so you have to 'thin out' or 'plant individually' on here.
It doesn't seem to mind 'wield your dibber' either. Well, it is spring!0
