Thames Tideway Settlement Deeds

Hi There
We received a letter from Thames Tideway Tunnel regarding works for the Tunnel and requesting that we enter into a Settlement Deed with them. From what I can see the Settlement Deed contractually obliges them to put right any damage to our flat arising from the tunnelling activities. According to the letter we are not required to enter the Settlement Deed, Thames Tideway suggest it merely clarifies their obligations to us.
Has anyone else received one of these letters / entered into the Deed? Should we sign up to the Deed? What are the advs/disadvs of doing so not doing so? Any advice anyone can offer would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards

Still struggling to know how to deal with this
Any ideas most welcome
Thank you0 -
Either speak to your neighbours to see what they have done or seek advice from your solicitor - the lack of responses on here makes me think this could be a very specialised area.0

Thames water will have served a WIA on this. If you have worries you need to employ legal advice.0
