Tax rebate when signing off jsa

Hi it says I get my tax rebate when signing off jsa, which I signed off on Monday, now I left my job of many years in August so I paid my extra tax then I earnt 10k and my code was the one where you can earn 10k tax free, I did work again in two places and earnt around 1500 and claimed 450 in jsa, so I am expecting to only pay tax on the 2k of the 12k I earnt this year, so my question is, it says I get a rebate when signing off, am I to expect this tax back?, or have I got it wrong am gonna phone once I get some feedback here so I have some idea of the situ, thanks
