Talkmobile Tariff - Upgrade v. New
Has the world gone mad? TM want to charge more for an upgrade tariff than for a new customer tariff, to the same phone.
Surely they should be trying to retain their existing customers, rather than trying to dump them and pay significant acquisition costs for new customers.

They attract new customers with an excellent deal, then hope they won't bother to switch afterwards. Shop around to find the best deal.0

First agent said the tarrif I wanted wasn't available on her system for upgrades. She then gave all sorts of barmy instructions to switch to a PAYG, get a PAC code to move number to the PAYG, buy with TM as a new customer, get another PAC code, and then move number from PAYG to TM.
Second agent said ring back on Monday and she would get the tarrif made available. She did and it was. I hope she gets commission on it.illegitimi non carborundum0
