If you count the C2W and Mag dailies as individual entries, 2k comps a day is very achievable but also very time consuming.
It's late/early but here goes with a rough guestimate...
There are approx 100 c2w sites, the largest of which currently has 23 pages with 7 comps on each (161), there are another 4 sites with 15 pages and 7 comps per page (420), another 3 with approx 10 pages of 7 (210), the other 87ish are smaller and generally have 5 -15 comps running, though some have more and others have just a couple but lets call it 10 (870) plus there are nearly 300 mag dailies. If you do all that lot you have nealy 2000 entries.
I never enter all of the clicks and dailies, but I try to do a fair chunk of them and it takes me nearly 3 hours so, on my old computer, I think it would take 4 hours to do the whole lot.
The thing with comping is, it is very time consuming and you can go months with out winning, especially if you are just entering big prize comps. Some people are lucky, enter once and get a 10k win, but that does not happen every day. If you and 5,000 other people are all entering the same comps, law of averages says you have to enter 5000 times to guarantee (ish) a win.
Also, if you see a comp on here and see that 200 people have thanked the poster, don't be fooled. The post below has just over 200 thanks but over 2000 page views, and that is just on this on this site (which is the best) some people use other sites and other way for finding comps.

I tracked my entries earlier this week and thought I was doing really well but when I added them up I had only entered 300 on top of the clicks and dailies.
Some people are lucky, but for most of us, it takes a heck of a lot of effort to get a result. That being said, when you do get your first winning email, it is worth every minute of it so do stick with it.2017 wins = £1350
2016 wins = £125 (18 months off comps)
2015 wins = £6,460
2014 wins = £1,3500 -
Thanks for your tips

Thanks for talking the time to write all that out!
I thought they had meant competitions and not entries, but with multiples that makes more sense! It's still an epic amount of entries though especially if they've spent every single day doing it non-stop

Hi I'm a Newbie been doing it since January as you can see in my signature my winnings so far my biggest being the iron. I don't count the comps I enter and I enter ones that only interest me whether their big or small prizes.
Even though some my see my wins as small I love receiving them through the post. I just think I was that one selected out of how many thousand compers.
One day I may win something big its all about the thrill for me.
Don't give up and don't be disheartened0 -
You are welcome I couldn't sleep last night, can you tell? LOL
As you said they are not unique competitions, but they are individual entries and I was just trying to explain to the OP that 2k a day can be done as they queries someone's number of entries.
Got to admit I was a bit shocked when I started adding it all up!2017 wins = £1350
2016 wins = £125 (18 months off comps)
2015 wins = £6,460

I'm sure I didn't get my first win for about 8 months, & it was only a tiny scented candle, I've since won plenty to make up for it though

When you enter competitions it is always useful to note when the end date is. Most big wins are atleast a month or two before they announce the winner! Some wins won't even announce you're the winner until you receive it in the post!
Stay positive and just enter as usual
Any win is still a bonus! :cool:0 -

I much prefer the lazy way of doing the comps ie enter & forget.
I just use the MSE functionality to track the entry & that is usually the last I have to do with the thread.0 -

Wow your not very friendly are you! I was being friendly in my post, I don't normally comment on newbie posts but thought no I'll be helpful this time, and yes I have been comping for nearly 3 years in started in August 2011 as a way to help with my depression, I don't know how many comps I have entered over that time as Weeowens says Its not worth counting just enter and forget so yes I was exaggerating but there was no need for you to pick me up on it I think that's very rude!
Huge thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to post all the comps! :T

FWIW I read that as a genuine enquiry and not a rude comment.
Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0
