in Credit cards
Hello,
Ive been reading the forums for a while but i have never posted..
I have got myself into a little debt, mainly due to paying for post grad and unable to get career development loan..
Nationwide, £5000, 15.9% apr £6900 limit
tesco, £740, 17.5% apr £1000 limit
asda, £2060, 0% until may then 24.9%, £3200 limit
barclaycard, £2000, 0% until may then 29.9%, £2200 limit
I've contacted the banks to see if any have b/transfer offers on to do the credit card switch, but none are able to.
the minimum payments I'm paying on nationwide are then added back on in interest so I'm unable to get the debt down.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?
Thanks

You need to do an SOA (statement of affairs) A quick search on here should find it.
People will advise on where to start.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
You'll get loads of helpful advice and tips over on the Debt Free Wannabe board. I think moderators can move your post if you want it moved.
The first thing you'll be asked is to complete and post an SOA (in one of the links on the Debt Free Wannabe welcome posts). This will list all your outgoings so people can try & give you advice on where you can save money.
Good luck0 -
It's good that you've decided now to sort things out because if you're struggling to reduce the debt at the moment it can only get worse from May once interest starts to be charged on the ASDA and Barclaycard amounts. So as the others have said, get onto the DFW board asap and post your SOA.0
