Ghostbusters weather - love it :rotfl:

I'm so glad work is going well SW.

I have a mental image of the police rolling up and questioning you about your purchase of those CDs - how funny! The more you try not to look dodgy the more dodgy it looks, like with the metal detectors at the airport.

I watched that Sarah Beaney programme - I agree with your summary - not very exciting watching someone decorate a boat for half an hour. A bit interesting, but ultimately not very applicable for most people!

I couldn't agree more about putting your health above your job (do as I say, not as I do...). A lodger would be a great idea as you can earn tax-free up to about £7k I think, or even just AirBnB a spare room at weekends??

Btw where is your bed if not in the bedroom?? (Can you tell I've never decorated before?!)

Payday today. I am not sure how much Ive saved. I will find out later on. Just come from an interesting day at work. My job is going to change a little to allow me hopefully to not be ill. It is an opportunity and I am going to take it with both hands. Yay.

Am taking the weekend off. Painting will hopefully start tomorrow.

Thank you, at least I have a job but nothing is certain any more. Ive done my best and that is all I can continue to do.

Today I have mowed half the grass in the garden. Builder is painting ceiling. All is well. Birds are tweeting in garden, am listening to Cruel Summer by Bananarama. It's all a bit rhubarb and custard. When the sun came out it was gorgeous so I mowed lawn and listened to 90s pop and also my old classical cds and chilled in the swing seat. It was glorious and felt like summer.

Builder will be back tomorrow. I don't think all the painting in that room will be done but the ceiling certainly will be as it has had many coats! lol. A NSD. The best kind.

The weather for the rest of the bank holiday is looking better with every new forecast! Plans for Monday and Tuesday as I didn't do much on Sunday:
    [STRIKE]wash sheets[/STRIKE],
    [STRIKE]do ironing,
    find shopping receipts,
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]find pension paperwork for phonecall to be made Tuesday,
look through medicine cabinet to see what I need.[/STRIKE]

On Wednesday I went to B and Q to get some paint (£27 stuff) and also got some bargain plants strawberries, sweet peas, carnations etc for £2.50. :)
