Doing a search on National Express site, you can do it for £42.10
http://coach.nationalexpress.com/nxbooking/journey-list#
though you'd still have to get to the bus station early
If you were eligible for a coach card it could be worth getting one as that would reduce the fairs by 1/3 for a cost of £10 too.
Also Quidco do 6.5% cashbacksomewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
But you do have Ken Olympia in the screen shot on #11. That should give you the Southern and LM routing and fares.0

I have just tried the Ken Olympia search And it dose work and prices are cheaper with that
But I have had a slight change of plan
I am flying out of Gatwick and returning to Heathrow
Ken Olympia tickets are out 10 quid cheaper then the others for single from Northampton to Gatwick
Can I buy one of these at the train station?
I have also done A search fo Heathrow to Northampton single
But the ''show other routes'' tab has gone!0 -

Yes, you can buy all tickets at a station.
''show other routes'' doesn't show because there are no other routes to show.0 -
For the return leg I would use the tube from Heathrow to Euston, and then buy a single from Euston to Northamption.

Depending on whether peak or off peak, the tube fare will be either £5.10 or £3.10 by Oyster or contactless card. Cash fare is £6.00.
The Euston to Northampton fare will be £32.20 peak, or £26.90 offpeak.0
