Can I trust Amazon Merchant Sellers?

I have bought plenty anyway it is different to ebay as the money gets paid to amazon and amazon pay out the seller at a later date.
So bottom line I would not worry about it.
Hope this helps
Paulhave no fear go ahead and do it!! :cool:0 -
not sure how well you would be protected..... check out the 'about the company' page for them on amazon. They do not state a refund policy but indicate to contact them to discuss. Sure something is not right to be honest.
think this is their site, down at the moment, does this mean anything ?

They are listing stuff well below cost, bargepole springs to mind.
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.0 -
I assume this has gone now as the link just goes through to Amazon page showing Amazon themselves as the lowest priced supplier.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I emailed Amazon asking if I was protected if I bought from this buyer - I haven't heard from Amazon but maybe my email alerted them? Or maybe they've all been bought?0 -
Hi this seller had a ZEN 60Gb MP4 player advertised yesterday (1-8-07) @£120 when I asked the seller a question, was this the correct price as it was well under the highstreet price, they responded and sudgested that if I wanted it then THEY would contact amazon and then Amazon would then in turn contact me to take the payment details, So I then had a spoof email from Amazon sudgesting that I pay into a western union account the amount requested by the seller, and when I had recieved the goods and advised that I was happy with them the funds would be released to the seller.
This is definetly a scam and I have reported it to Amazon, but have had no reply from Amazon, but have had 3 requests for payment from the spoof Amazon account.0 -
Even if it wasn't a scam, spending a grand on a telly isn't really very money saving IMO. regardless of what the RRp is.0

not a grand it was 500 for a tv worth 13000
