Hello everyone,
Im looking for some advice, I dont want to go to a broker just yet, but I need help with my plans.
I currently have an house with my husband, worth 80k, there's 50k mortgage outstanding on it. Its up for remortgage this year, so I plan to overpay and get rid of it within 10 years.
The other part to this is im looking to buy a bungalow, around 140k and rent our current house out for the expected rent, probably £450 per month.Ive 10k in savings and either plan to save for the bungalow or mortgage here and there over the next 10 years (thats where I need advice).
Im self employed and also have previous bad credit, which has now been cleared, but i struggle to get any credit. My husband is on a basic wage, although his credit score is excellent.
Could you advise on the best way to go about this? many thanks.
