I am also very guilty of 1 - and don't cope well with boredom.

The YNAB pots are working nicely for me now - I put £40 a month in for all gifts including Christmas, birthdays, flowers when visiting people, charity donations etc and I love that I no longer worry about whether I 'should' spend however much on my favourite people - it's all in the budget and already dealt with.

Taking stuff back is also a great plan - I often hang things up when I get them home, if I still love looking at them a few days later they're clearly staying and worth it, if I just feel guilty they obviously aren't and go back to the shop!

Thanks Rosa and MT. *pokes Freeby to see if she's awake*

To be honest, I think we all know these things - so it's as much being mindful about them at the right time as having the knowledge. So I think I'll write the main ones down and keep the note in my purse... like a little MSE ninja just laying in wait... :D

Good advice with Swagbucks and surveys. I've signed up for surveys already - but as I'm nice and normal (oi! who just sinngered?!!), so often get kicked off them as they've filled their quota. I like the look of Swagbucks though - this might be a dumb question, but what's it like on your internet usage?

Still trying to get hold of BT about the sports thing - haven't got through yet, but I shall prevail!! *stands tall* *sends stink-eye to BT*

In the meantime, I've been cracking on with some bits and pieces around the house. Lots of silly bits that normally get ignored, but I'm working through a long list and even if I'm only getting a couple of things ticked off each day, it's feeling fab. :)

Unusually for me, I've been very good eating from the fridge and freezer this week as well. Nothing pre-planned per se - but nothing new added either. Until tonight that is - but that's because I have family visiting this weekend. Only need to provide one meal, and it's a cheapie with the potential for left-overs that would sort my meals for the following week if I'm clever. Argh - so excited to see them as it's been months. Plus they're camping (mum has a motorhome) so no pressure on me at all. :)

I'm still working on those goals - well, I pretty much know what I want now and what I should be doing to get there. It just feels a bit big, grown up and scary to write down, let alone share. :o But never fear, I'll get there!:D

Finally, gather round for a big hug and possibly some sloppy kisses. Because it's been a tough week at work which has been all doom and gloom, but just sitting here writing to you lot has me smiling lots and all relaxed.

    Thank you. :smileyhea

Now, gather in *stretches arms out*

I use swagbucks, depends what you do on it as to how it impacts your internet - I use the SBTV on the browser and phone apps which as its all video content is quite data heavy (am on unlimited downloads though), but you can just use it for surveys which makes it no worse than any other survey site, but not really the best way to maximise the opportunities with them.

Sending you hugs and some sloppy chocolate coated kisses Nora for your bad week at work. It's lovely you have somewhere to go to put the smile back.

Nearly a fresh week! This week will be much better, for both of us. MTx

I'd be honoured! Welcome to the silliness - there's sometimes even chocolate (when FreebyFifty hasn't scoffed it all).

*plonks self down, slides over a cuppa and biscuit* So, are you properly new to MSE? How are you settling in? Got/thinking of a diary?

Just got home and realised when I raided Hotel Choc this afternoon I forgot about the giandujas I bought in Nero yesterday... :D
