Uk to Luxembourg...by train??

What's the best site [if any] to book train tickets on for Newcastle to Luxembourg?? Or should I hit a travel agent???

Basically East Coast to London, Eurostart to Brussels and then train to Luxembourg,....is there a way of booking right through??

Thanks

Not many flights to Luxembourg, unless you live near London City.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Not really...fly to Brussels and train then so slightly shorter but flying is such a sh17 way to travel.....I intend to get on train in Newcastle and relax for 3 hrs, then Eurostar and relax for 2 hrs and then train and relax for 3 hrs.....lot better way to travel than flying [imo]

By the time you factor in door to door travel (airports tend to be some distance from city centres) travelling by train tends to be not much longer (and in a few cases shorter) and much less stressful.

It's one of the reasons Eurostar is so successful.

  • Yep....so much less stressful.

And with less hassle with security deciding that your not allowed to take your own drinks onto the plane and hence have to pay over the odds for drinks on the other side of the security line.

Not to mention other liquids you can carry with ease on an eurostar that you can't carry in hand luggage, with no penalties for being 0.1kg over the weight limit.
