What else can i do to earn money??

Ok,this is it - things have taken a dramatic turn with our debts........... We owe £10,000 in debt. £4,500 morgan and stanley £3,500 lloyds £1,200 hsbc.....................Firstly, They are refered to as our debts but nothing is in my name - just his and will remain that way seeing as they are ALL his! .......................Secondly, he is paying what he can - £100 towards the big debt and £50 to each of the smaller debts.Im looking for ways in which i can make money, earn money, save money, etc to help out towards them more. He works 5 days a week from 7/8am until 5/6pm (depending on which shift) , one day he has to take off for his hospital appointments and they dont work sundays. I work 11 hours a week friday 6-10pm and sunday 3-10pm and then i look after our 3 year old the rest of the week. We were reclaiming bank charges (£1,400 owed to us) and we expected £1,000 back so we could have paid off the smallest debt but due to the shake up dont know if this will happen now.I have a mobile but it is purely to be contacted on and never has credit on it.We have our weekly shop down to £100 a month for me, bf, our 3 year old, his 6 year old (weekends) and pets (1 dog, 3 terrapins). We do have NTL - TV, computer and telephone but the phone is never used. It is basically there for incoming calls only. We never dial out.We dont eat takeaways, go for meals, go to the cinema or do anythign else, Neither of us drinks and neither of us smokes or does drugs. we dont have a car or motorbike.................Bf cycles back and forth to train station for work but has to get the train in between as it is too far a distance. (ie he cycles to the train station, catches train, cycles form train station to place of work)He has a monthly ticket which is £40 so saves him £20+ if he was to buy seperate daily tickets. He takes packed lunches, drinks water, and everything if its not used is unplugged, switched off etc.We save our pennies, buy reduced food items that we know we'll eat, i eat before i go to work, any ideas on other things i can do to save a few more pennies to help??forgot to add - i do do pigsback etc but our computer is very old and needs replacing so wont let me accesss half the sites before it boots me off them or crashes so cant really get on them

    ok, right here goes.
Do you ever have a few hours spare for bar work/avon?
How about mystery shopping? bit of a pain without a decent computer but can be a good earner, esp if you have a library you can go to in order to fill in your responses.
also get anything and everything you can via quidco. Fantastic for building up cashback quickly.
Are you able to maybe start a dog walking business for during the day? Although you'd need some form of insurance the cost for this would be massively counterbalanced by the business you'd receive.
Are you claiming ever single bit of tax credits adn benefits that you are able? check www.entitledto.com i think it is to make sure. If not then google it or i'm sure someone will come along with the right address.
As it's ripe for summer holiday time right now, how about offering to look after friends houses/pets when they go away. I know that most friends in the past have given me some money to do it even though not expected, you could say something like "cover my petrol and i'll look after your house for you." then it's down to them to come up with how much they believe your petrol will cost, you'll probably find yourself quids in! little one will enjoy helping look after the pets to.
Are you any good at anything like photography or painting? could this be utilised to earn a little extra?
The biggest thing that struck me though, you aren't living right now. I know it is so hard on a budget but check out the freebies board, occasionally you can get free cinema tickets etc.
Do you have reward cards for the supermarkets? use your points earnt towards a fun day out or something.
Let us have details of BF's debts, a bit of card shuffling may help release some much needed cash.
    Hugs for now

Sorry wrote you a reply and lost it, fingers crossed this time.

Would it be possible for you to post a statement of affairs, the link below will show you how to set it out.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280

Have you made sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to

    http://www.entitledto.com/

Do you have any skills you could use to earn some money or could you work from home perhaps ironing or doing babysitting in the evenings or you mention your OH has to go to the hospital is he well enough to get an evening job?

I think it would definately help if you posted an SOA as previously mentioned, there must be ways that people can help you cut back or change which will improve your situation.

See if you can improve it first before you find ways to make more money, see what sort of a situation you are really in then you can realistically see what needs to be done.

    Good luck!

    Hi

Is your 3 year old eligible for free nursery sessions? Could you get them on days when you can get extra work, even if only for one day a week?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
