RBS Gold Maestro Card Criteria

Hi Folks,

iIhave been browsing on this site for a few days now and have came across some really useful information, If only I had discovered it sooner! :j

I have a question which hopefully someone can help me out with. I know its a bit shallow of me but....

I have just switched my Current Account and Credit Card to RBS.

I have received a Gold Credit Card, but plain Maestro Card, wouldnt have noticed there was two versions only my friend who has been with them a few years has the Gold One,

I was wondering does anyone know what the criteria is for getting the Gold one?

    i think you get the gold switch card if you have the gold royalties

    no, thats not it - I used to have royalties gold, but had a standard switch card at the time.

    I think there is a certain payin/internal credit score criteria, you should ask at the branch.
