I've been doing some housekeeping and come across statements for cards I haven't used for a long time. MBNA - 11 years, Halifax platinum - 11 years, Karen Millen - nearly 5 years, House of Fraser card - 6 years. I don't know if they're still "open", but if they are (I don't want them) should I close them all or is that bad for my credit rating??

Check your credit file(s) and you'll see.

Good or bad depends on many factors, mainly your (total credit available)/income ratio.
