Credit card application - time at address

Hi,
First time poster, long-time reader of the MSE forums.
I am currently looking at applying for a 0% purchases credit card and wanted to clarify the 'time living at current address' on the application to maximise chances of acceptance.
For background, I have owned a property since November 2008, lived there until August 2010 (1.5 years) and then rented it out whilst living overseas until July 2014 when I moved back to the property. I am assuming that the correct time living at the address on the application is c.6 months, although my credit record shows timely mortgage payments for over 6 years. Can someone please help clarify.
Thanks,
Matt

I can't provide the final answer, but a factor I would consider (and possibly the lender) is how long you have been on the electoral role at the address (i.e were you still on it whilst away?). Credit reference agencies hold this info and will advise the credit lender when they do the searches.0

Was you still on the electoral register at the address for the whole time?
If the answers yes then include the whole time.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
