Using PAYG credit on services via SMS

I know a few years ago there were lots of suggestions on how to recycle PAYG credit so as not to lose it, but most of those avenues seem to have dried up since then. It now seems very uncommon to be able to use carrier billing via SMS.

I've been badly let down by Delight Mobile (part of Vectone... I know, I know ...) and after 2 weeks of porting my number in and not being able to receive calls, I wish to cut my losses and run. If I can cash in the credit on premium services, then it minimises my loss and also the profit they can extract from me. They are now permanently blocked from my credit card (I've heard they like dipping their fingers back into peoples accounts, but nt yet experienced it myself) but I'd need an independent report to do a chargeback, and life is too short and the amount too small.

Any suggestions on how I might recycle the PAYG credit? I think charities donations can still be made that way, but what about something less selfless?
