Pen-Y-Dyffryn Country Hotel was built as a rectory in 1845 for an eccentric Celtic scholar and spiritual and mental refreshment are certainly high on the menu at this beautiful country hotel. With its quite magnificent setting almost a thousand feet up on the last hill in Shropshire and facing all the splendour of the Welsh mountains, the hotel offers a superb retreat from all the stress and bustle of everyday life.

1. The prize must be taken by the end of April (excludes Easter period), subject to availability. Booking essential. Excludes public holidays, school holidays, bank holiday weekends and Saturday nights.
2. The closing date for entries will be noon on 12th January 2015. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special breaks or promotions such as Christmas, Gourmet Weekends etc.
3. One prize winner will be selected and will receive a 2 Free Nights for 2 + Dinner on 1 Night for them and a guest.
4. The stay is open to a maximum of two adults sharing a double room.
5. The winner is responsible for their travelling costs to and from the hotel.
6. There is no purchase necessary to enter Best Loved Hotels contests.
