Parcels2Go-Hermes

Hi,

I did a booking using Hermes via parcel2go to pick up an auction lot from London, was collected on the 17th December and it has finally turned up today, which is a crap service.

I had bought three silver cigarette cases, and the package has been tampered with and re taped up and one of the cases has been stolen.

Parcel2Go are not the least bit interested or apologetic.

Avoid Hermes, they are useless.

I've used Hermes on numerous occasions over the past couple of years or so with absolutely no problems whatsoever. All courier companies along with Royal Mail will encounter problems from time to time due to the volume of parcels etc. that go through their hands. No company is completely infallible you'll find.

As long as you have taken out adequate insurance cover on items you're sending, you should at least be covered for any loss.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

What does the tracking say, did they try to deliver before yesterday? If the packaging is as bad as you suggest then it could be the seller didn't package sufficiently. If something is missing you need to report it to the seller.
