PC World: Double Discount for students

Good evening,
Just thought I'd pop on to let you know that if you are buying any items from PC World, check if there are any web-based deals with the "collect in store" option.
Go to the store, collect the item, and you can STILL use the 10% student discount.
For example:
Today I ordered a wireless router from the website, which had £20 off the in-store price. I then collected the item, presented my NUS extra card and got a further 10%, saving a total of £27.
Just thought I'd share.

i dont understand...how do u get it twice0

Is this NUS Extra only? Paying to get discounts seems daft to me...but clearly you've saved a lot.
@AmyGroovy3 I think the idea is that its £20 cheaper to order online for example, so the instore price is £40. Its only £20 online; but you instore pick up for £20 and then use student discount on top of that.0 -

You do not get the same discount twice - you get two different disocounts. The idea is to make use of two seperate discounts which you are entitled to, by reserving at the online price and paying instore using a student discount. Alot of people would not think of this!Is this NUS Extra only? Paying to get discounts seems daft to me...but clearly you've saved a lot.
Get a FREE NUS Extra card when you open a LloydsTSB student account
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -
