The prizes
First prize is a week-long safari for two in Tanzania, as guests of the luxury travel specialists Sanctuary Retreats
and the tailor-made luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent.
The winner and a guest will enjoy three nights at the Sanctuary Kusini camp, in the southern Serengeti, in a decked tent with an attendant. Famous for leopards and cheetahs, the area is a stargazer’s paradise. They will then spend three nights at Sanctuary Saadani Safari Lodge, set on a magnificent beach. All game drives, food, drinks (except premium brands) and transfers are included, as is a night in Dar es Salaam. Prize A is at Calcot Manor, in the Cotswolds, which has a creche, a spa and a restaurant with views over the hotel’s 220 acres of grounds (01666 890391, calcotmanor.co.uk). Prize B is at Barnsley House, near Cirencester, with beautiful gardens by Rosemary Verey, a spa and a private cinema (01285 740000, barnsleyhouse.com). Prize C is at the Lord Crewe Arms, a posh pub with rooms in the Pennines (01434 675469, lordcrewearmsblanchland.co.uk).
