New leased van broke down before delivered
I have recently entered into a 4 year lease hire arrangement for a company van. However, on the way to deliver the vehicle to me it broke down. It is still with the dealership one day later who are trying to diagnose the problem.
Do I have to accept the vehicle when it is finally repaired? I do not wnt to be saddled with a vehicle for 4 years that may have recurring issues.
Thanks
Robert

Is the vehicle new or used?
Do you have servicing and maintenance included in the lease?
Also do you have any idea on the cause of the breakdown?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The vehicle is new and it is on a fully serviced contract which means i have less concerns about the financial impact but mot=re the disruption to my activities.
Apparently the AA thought the cause was a loose wire which they attempted to fix at road side for several hours. However, Citroen have had the vehicle on diagnostics all day and are still none the wiser.0 -
