Simplest way to claim for lost parcel my Hermes?

They lost a parcel , which is actually beneficial to me as long as they pay out. I messaged them and they said they would send me an email but they haven't. I know they are very busy right now, and I don't need the money desperately but what is the quickest route to get my money back.

I strongly doubt it's beneficial to you, because they will need the receipt or invoice for what you paid for it, and if you sold it on eBay at a loss, they will pay the lesser of the two. Plus will wriggle out on all their exclusions, terms and conditions.

Well I sold at a high profit.it sold at a much higher price than I normally would have expected to get. Why would I sell something at a loss?
  • I'm saying they'll give you the lesser of the two, not necessarily the price you achieved.

So if you bought it for £20 and sold it for £80, you'll get £20.

The few times I have had to claim for My Hermes lost or damaged parcels they have paid the price it sold for on Ebay (excluding postage) and refunded the label price.

Although you'd need to check the list of excluded items. Also assuming that you had the compensation cover for the full price.

Personally I would contact them through the online form by e-mail on their website. Or again if you haven't. Claim for a lost parcel. They send you a claim form to fill in and then it can take a few weeks for them to investigate.

it can depend on what the tracking info says. I've only had this happen once but the courier co admitted it was lost by them and put an appropriate remark in Tracking info. I then received an email from Hermes. I did a LiveChat with Hermes and they credited my account on the fly, at the declared value (it was secondhand car parts) plus their charge, credit was showing before I ended the chat call. Have to say I was impressed with the level of service.

I messaged the and they sent me a claim form by email, but the link wouldn't work . I rang them and they filled the claim in for me. They asked for the ebay number, how I packaged it . They said it will take a couple of weeks. They failed to deliver it to the buyer and had said they would return it to me, in the meantime they lost it.
