Two defects in one morning.

Had a case opened for INR from a buyer in USA who has left it one working day over Ebay's estimated due date. Does he not know it's Christmas, and post is taking longer than usual ?
The second was another INR from a UK buyer who failed to collect his item from the post office, and it has been returned to me.
Spoke to Ebay CS about both, who said the second MIGHT be removable if I take photos as proof of what has happened.
Some days I really hate Ebay

The overseas ones do get me. The ebay estimates assume the Clerk accepting the parcel immediately gets on their motor bike, delivers it to Heathrow and sends it via Lear jet direct to customer. No waiting around in mail centres, no custom clearance- nothing - just straight over and on their doorstep in 3 days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have started sending messages to all overseas buyers saying that their delivery will probably take longer than the Ebay estimate, but of course, this is the one I didn't send a message to
We know Ebay's estimates are rubbish, and so do Ebay, so why don't they change them.
Sadly, that's another two buyers blocked, as I can't take the risk of them buying again. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
I had a buyer demanding a refund BEFORE sending the item back - or i get a neg.
Roll on a week he opens a return case saying item is faulty. It isn't - hes found it cheaper.
I get an email from Catherine at Ebay saying dont worry - the case will go in my favour. Very next day - buyer wins case although i dont have to pay. I then get a neg.
Defect shows for item not as described and neg (although you get one)
On live chat this morning - i get Catherine of all people - and all was put right. But buyer still got a freebie. Ebay are nuts.0 -
Sent photos of the returned package to me as proof that they had attempted to deliver, but Ebay have refused to remove the defect as I didn't sent it tracked.
So delivery was attempted within the Ebay estimated date, and to the correct address and I still get a defect :mad:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
I changed my dispatch time from one day to two days to compensate for eBay's ineptitude.
My sales are stronger than ever, just less early INR cases.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -

I can't afford to do that as I'm still getting the TRS discount, I would do it like a shot though if I ever lost TRS.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
