Buy high Buy low

Hold approx 15 shares through Halifax sharebuilder where you can drip feed to suit yourself.
As a philosophical point should you buy shares when they are at their high like ABF or should you buy when they are at their low.
I bought Lloyds a while ago on the basis that they would come back.
Does anybody know if research has been done.

Thanks
I suppose with infinite money at lows would be best?

If you have to sell, then you want to sell for more than you paid for them. There's also dividends received and inflation to take into account, to arrive at a true profit.

    Ideally buy low, sell high.

Or buy high, sell even higher.
  • Ideally buy low and sell high - does anyone have a crystal ball? :):D

How do you decide when they are high, or low?
