I have sent argos yet another email to tell them of the customer service that I and many others have being getting.
Item I ordered to arrive two days ago didnt turn up...er.. okay benefit of the doubt, next day I got an automated message to say that item would be the next day.
Okay......... but would have been nice to be contacted, when I sat in all day, that delivery wouldn't be forthcoming.
Could not get through to customer services, no matter how long I waited, so tried posting on their facebook page for some sort of answer, couldn't believe the posts on there of others complaining about the lack of any sort of response for their queries.
I mean how hard is it to email or phone a customer? I know its the run up to Christmas but for Argos to completely blank their customers is not acceptable.:(

I went to argos yesterday and it was a horrific experience. I bought a £12 item and paid with £15 but they had no change. I stood there for around 15 minutes while they tried to find me £3. I offered to pay by card but as the transaction had gone through the till they couldn't do that.
After 10 minutes I was offered 300 pennies but I politely declined and said I would wait until the manager had opened the safe to get the change out.

Two stores where I live, never had a problem with either one. Check stock on line, usually reserve, look at it in store, then pay.
Returns if I change my mind, no problems. A petrol hedge cutter went wrong after 11 months, returned to store with the receipt & got a new one (& offered choice of refund).
Greggs next to 1 of the stores but doesn't attract "feral kids sucking sausage rolls".
Home delivery, can't comment as no experience of that. Don't ordinarily pay cash but on occasions when I have 'change' hasn't been a problem.
All in all, my experience of Argos is nothing but positive.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0
